- All travelers are advised to get their own traveling insurance. A Belgian’s Beer Diary and the Brussels Beer Bus are not responsible for losses, damages, personal injuries, and health-related expenses.
- A Belgian’s Beer Diary and the Brussels Beer Bus reserve the right to change the itinerary without notice due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
- It is the responsibility of the participant to arrive on time and at their own cost to the morning meeting points. Any late arrival may result in cancellation of activities for said participant for that day.
- It is expected that the participant is comfortable with walking, standing and taking public transportation. We will be walking on various surfaces such as cobble stones, pavement, asphalt, carpet, etc. (Unfortunately, a lot of Belgian facilities are not yet ADA compliant).
- You must be of drinking age in your country of residence as well as in Belgium (18 years old) to be able to attend the tour. No exceptions.
- A Belgian’s Beer Diary and the Brussels Beer Bus reserve the right to remove a participant for misconduct. Misconduct is defined as any kind of behavior that is hindering the experience of other participants or hosts, which includes but is not limited to alcohol-related misbehavior, infectious sickness, discriminatory remarks, etc.
- All tours are non-refundable. It takes a lot of time and logistics to be able to give you the best experience possible. The cost of the tour is based on a set amount of people. If for any reason you cannot attend the tour, you may be able to find another participant to take your reservation. This can be arranged by email.
- All payments are made in US Dollars. However, make sure to bring some Euros for the trip as US Dollars are not accepted in Belgium.
- Approximately 1 month prior to the tour, you will receive an email with a detailed itinerary. This will include location names and times, as well as mode of transportation to the activities.
- A Belgian’s Beer Diary and the Brussels Beer Bus will do their best to keep you out of the rain, snow, etc. However, Belgium’s weather is highly unpredictable and we encourage everyone to look at the weather forecast to pack accordingly. Keep in mind that the weather forecast can change rather quickly.
- Smoking and drugs: There will be no smoking allowed during activities. Belgium’s law prohibits smoking indoors. If you need to take a smoke break, please do so when appropriate and respect your fellow tour members. There will be no drugs allowed on the tour under any circumstances.
- It is your responsibility to obtain all travel-related documents such as passports, potential visas, etc. If you are unsure whether you may need a visa to travel to Belgium, please refer to the Embassy of Belgium website if you are a US citizen. All others must check with their respective entities. Do not travel with a passport that is about to expire and make sure to read all related documentation prior to booking your trip.
- Upon cancellation of the scheduled Belgium Tour by the organizer, A Belgian’s Beer Diary, where the participant is not at fault, all sums paid to A Belgian’s Beer Diary for services not provided will be promptly refunded to the participant unless the participant otherwise advises A Belgian’s Beer Diary in writing, after cancellation.
- Photography and Video: A Belgian’s Beer Diary and the Brussels Beer Bus reserve the right to take photos and videos during the tour. By purchasing the tour, you are allowing A Belgian’s Beer Diary and the Brussels Beer Bus to use photographs and videos of you, free of copyright, licensing or final approval. You are, of course, encouraged to take you own photographs when allowed. If you’d prefer to travel camera-free, we totally understand and will have a photo book of the trip available for purchase within a month after the tour is over.

You will be provided with a local phone number, an international phone number and an email for you to reach us during your free time should something come up.
