Coors, of course!

I had been meaning to visit Coors Brewing since I first go to Colorado in 2020 but couldn’t due to Covid. So, of course, I had to pay a visit to the brewery when they reopened their tours. I thought I’d share some of the photographs from my visit.

I could write about the history of Coors for hours, but that’s been largely covered on the internet already so we are going to keep it simple with just a few key facts:

  1. Coors Brewery in Golden is the largest single-site brewery in the world.
  2. Coors started brewing beer in 1873 (celebrating 150 years next year).
  3. Coors became the first brewer to use a two-part all-aluminum can in 1959 and still operates the largest aluminum can factory in the world called Rocky Mountain Metal Container in collaboration with Ball Metal.
  4. Coors merged with Molson in 2005 becoming Morson Coors Brewing Co.

On to the visuals… It’s a pretty site! Right in the heart of Golden CO. Hard to beat.
